Steampunk Wedding at Bourscheid Castle – A Timeless Celebration
In the mystical setting of Bourscheid Castle, perched in the heights of Luxembourg, we orchestrated a resolutely audacious marriage, at the crossroads of retrofuturistic and Victorian worlds.
The refined and theatrical steampunk atmosphere took over the place for an unforgettable ceremony.
The scenography was structured around opulent drapes, deep velvets, and antique gilding, highlighting the château's majestic, rough stone. The floral arch blended eucalyptus, burnt roses, and dried flowers, while antique mechanical elements (cogs, clocks, gears) blended into the decorative composition, paying homage to Jules Verne and HG Wells.
The bride and groom, in reimagined period costumes, sported customized top hats, dark lace, sculpted canes, and bouquets adorned with metallic elements. A characterful ceremony, led by an officiant who was himself an actor in this period piece, punctuated the vows exchanged beneath a large symbolic clock, suspended as a witness to suspended time.

The reception continued in a warm atmosphere, amidst antique lanterns, carefully chosen objects, and the soft glow of candlelight. The details reflected the couple's identity: from handcrafted treats decorated with tiny chocolate gears to the vintage furniture thoughtfully arranged in the alcoves of the inner courtyard.
This wedding is the perfect example of an immersive staging, where every detail tells a story – that of a love anchored in another space-time.
