THE STORY
The Mas de Rey in Arles
The Domaine du Mas de Rey, located in Arles, is an exceptional venue for a masterclass dedicated to grand decor. This 12th-century estate witnessed the history of the Knights Templar and served as a stopping place on the Camino de Santiago. Since 2012, the Cornille family has been renovating it using traditional Provençal methods, while preserving its authenticity.
Nestled in the heart of the Camargue Regional Park, Mas de Rey offers an enchanting setting surrounded by endless vineyards and unspoiled landscapes. The estate's reception room, bathed in natural light thanks to its large bay windows, combines rustic charm and sophistication. It can accommodate up to 400 people for a cocktail reception and 300 people for a seated reception, providing an ideal space for large-scale art installations.
The estate also offers charming accommodations, with two cottages featuring nine tastefully decorated rooms and suites, offering guests comfort and privacy. The vast green spaces, endless vineyards, and unique panorama of the Camargue create a magical atmosphere, conducive to inspiration and artistic creation.
